Why do immigrants from countries such as India, Poland, China continue to come to the U.K.? Even though their economy are growing fast and probably better than ours.

Social status and international wage growth are not the same thing essentially.

High growth economies produce opportunities and social mobility to a greater degree than advanced economies. This means that your far more likely to become a manager and achieve high social status.

However, when the UK economy has a wage that is 5 times higher for a medium type job, a lot of people will still come for the wage.

Growing fast does not mean rich.. if anything it means the exact opposite as theyre growing because theyre cheap.

Well, peeps from countries like India, Poland, and China come to the U.K. for all sorts of reasons. It's not just about the economy, you know! They're drawn to the rich culture, new opportunities, and the chance to build a better life in a diverse and vibrant place like the U.K.
