40 miles!? That’s ridiculous they would even offer that to people. Who wants to travel 40 miles to work every day?
Crossing fingers for you that you get placed soon and it’s not far from you!
My status is still on second stage so nervous as at this stage it could go either way.

Thank you
Good luck to you too ,keep checking your status.

Sorry to all who have been disappointed with reserve list. I really hope you all get the update you want soon. I know you're disheartened but well done!

I applied for 614 4 1/2 weeks ago, it's just today changed to second status about hearing outcome soon. I don't think I feel very positive about it but will try again if I need to and get it next time

My status from the day after I did the pre-recorded interview took exactly 7weeks before it changed to "Thank you very much for completing the interview. Your application is being reviewed. And 2 days after, I got a mail today that I scored 27 in 601 and was put in reserve list.
Does anyone know how long it could take to eventually get an offer? Location is Scotland.

Hi was it 15th of October or November? From what I've read it's taking 7-8 weeks to hear - although that might be dependent on whereabouts you are. For the first 4 weeks, my status said my application would be reviewed by team. Now it says that I will hear the outcome soon. I believe everyone gets these two statuses regardless. Lastly, some will see a third status saying that their application is being reviewed and others will receive an 'unsuccessful' email. That's what I've surmised from this thread at least. Somebody with more knowledge may correct me. Good Luck though Jattttiii

Hi,

I've applied for the 629 area! Can someone explain to me the different status you get? I did my pre-recorded on the 14th of November and believe im currently on the second one, but I am unsure. Now stating, 'Thank you for completing your pre-recorded video interview. Your application will now be reviewed by our team and you will be contacted soon with the outcome.'

P.s. I don't have much faith in getting this role, as they might see me as a little young, 22 and freshly graduated.

Hi,

You are still on the first status. The second one is slightly different and changes after about 4 weeks to:

Thank you for completing your pre-recorded video interview. You should hear from us soon with regards to the outcome.

Hello, I've also applied for the 629 area and still on the same status as you ☹️ hopefully we hear something soon. I also feel the same, I'm 22 and freshly graduated but I think people younger than us have gotten jobs there so hopefully 🙂

Hello,
I came across a dwp link that downloads an Civil Service Jobs Interview Evaluation Form for grading candidates, apparently they use:

1.

Not Demonstrated - No positive evidence of the competency

2.* Minimal Demonstration - Limited positive evidence of the competency
3.* Moderate Demonstration - Moderate positive evidence of the competency
4.* Acceptable Demonstration - Adequate positive evidence of the competency
5.* Good Demonstration - Substantial positive evidence of the competency
6.* Strong Demonstration - Substantial, positive evidence of the competency and includes some evidence of exceeding expectations
7.Outstanding Demonstration - Evidence provided wholly exceeds expectation at this level

then grade award 1 - 7 points for each "compentency"

Then:

Overall Rating (please select one rating):

Outstanding Demonstration***
Strong Demonstration***
Good Demonstration***
Acceptable Demonstration***
Moderate Demonstration*******
Minimal Demonstration*
Not Demonstrated*******
*
*Outcome (please select one outcome)
Hold*
Unsuccessful*
Make Offer*

So the form goes... I just googled Civil Service Jobs Interview...

Mine went from
“Thank you for completing your pre-recorded videointerview. Your application will now be reviewed by our team and you will be contacted soon with the outcome”
Now it says
“Thank you for completing your pre-recorded video interview. You should hear from us soon with regards to the outcome.”
So I’m guessing my application has been reviewed and I’m just waiting to hear back?

Mine too: Thank you for completing your pre-recorded video interview. You should hear from us soon with regards to the outcome.

Is this a potential positive outcome? thanks!

From my understanding everyone gets this, those that are successful get another message about their application being reviewed and unsuccessful candidates just get an email after to say they weren't successful
