got 81 in the SMC after reading "square" instead of cube, and forgetting 19 is a prime. grr.
otherwise I would have made it to the BMO round 1 I think.

Just that. I didn't sit BMO1. Though I have seen the paper. I wouldn't have done very well.

i got 6/50 the first time i got to BMO1, which apparently isn't bad since most first timers get 0 or 1.

the second year i had a uni interview so didn't get to take it!

and SsEe if you got 125/125, why weren't you invited to take the BMO? normally anyone with 95+ (sometimes lower) are invited to take it!

I did bad in SMC, but was entered in BMO1 'on faith' . . I ended up getting 16. One the one hand, I'm pleased that I got a decent enough score, especially since I have never in my life ever sat a math challenge of any level of difficulty (exams don't count), and I'm 15. But on the other hand, I could have got to Round 2 maybe if I was neater in my solution and hadn't dropped 6 marks on questions where I worked out the right answer, with a proper proof.
