Are there coffee shops and restaurants around that are affordable for students and are there many job opportunities?

There are a few local pubs and restaurants in the Kegworth (5 mins from sb), but obviously nothing compared to living in the centre of Nottingham. If you want a job whilst you’re here, you would be able to find one, but most vets are too busy with uni work anyways.

There are affordable coffee shops! There’s one in kegworth and one in Sutton Bonington as well as the one on campus. There’s lots of restaurants in nearby villages and many pubs serve food. In kegworth there are 2 pubs which serve food, a restaurant at the hotel, 2 Indian restaurants/takeaways, 2 fish and chips takeaways and 2 Chinese takeaways as well as a butchers and coop. I’m referring to kegworth more as that’s where most students live after first year. There are enough job opportunities. Everyone I know who wanted to get a job was able to. There’s restaurants, cafes, shops as well as some stuff on campus. Loughborough also isn’t too far.
