No I failed it with 1 mark only got 23 unfortunately I can't believe my luck. Well learning curve guys I think I be better prepared for it next time and will grab it with both hands infact I didn't even prepare for the interview juts went ahead with it this time but next time I will be better prepared and better quiped now I know how it works so waiting for next vacancy plus my east london is still pending for a response after SJT so getting ready for that one

Be proud, you did well, it sucks you were only 1 mark away. Do you think you could maybe get in contact with them about it just to reconsider it?

Literally same! I wonder how long its going to take. I'm trying to optimistic but I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't start till Jan

I rang up on Tuesday to see how long it would take and also double check if we would if our pay would be adjusted to the current salary in the new adverts. She confirmed the latter but said that checks range from 8-12 weeks and that I shouldnt mark my calendar lol

The vetting team told me they aim to complete within 25 working days so once the 25th working day passes and i still don’t hear anything.. i will be emailing them ever so often so that i get my start date asap because there is no reason for it to take that long if they already confirmed they have everything they need from me😅

The vetting team is so disorganised they’re going to make me pull my hair out LOL. Something told me to email them today to get an update and someone responded saying they need information about a gap in my employment history but I had ALREADY given this info to them when they started my checks on 05/09/2023 and contacted all my referees the next day and received responses from all of them. I have been waiting 5 weeks since checks have started and everytime i call SSCL they can see that my DBS is on the system fine and all my referees have responded so there is nothing else for me to do.. the vetting team always state that if they need more info they will contact me but this is clearly some sort of confusion or someone was so disorganised to update my application when i already provided the missing information. This just goes to show I need to continue to chase them because this is a joke.. causing unnecessary delays

You’re lucky you even get automated emails, I haven’t received any. I did not even receive an initial email saying my checks have begun, someone from the vetting team had to tell me when my checks begun and just wait.

Yep this is exactly how I feel. I’ve gotten multiple email updates updating me of nothing. I tried to get some understanding of when they will get back to you. Nothing. I’ve contacted them multiple times. Nothing. I feel like is it even worth it anymore 🙃 there should be better communication with thier applicants and people they offer the job too.

My checks are finally complete.. 7am this morning after i sent this email they apologised and have finally passed my checks.. 25 working days exact since they began😂.. now to wait for contract and start date

Finally 😅 gosh the amount of effort you had to go through. Did you count 25 days from the day you received the email stating that you completed the form? Or was it earlier?

Also let us know when you hear back from a start date, it would be nice to know how long it takes.
