Hi Everyone , Hope everyone is pleased with their results I manged to get AAABC in my higher results
My As where in Biology,Maths,Pe, My B was in Chemistry and My C in English.
Im looking to apply for dentistry and i would like to know if my results would be considered and if not will i have to retake Chemistry and English agai?. (Also sitting my Ucat exam during september and my current Subjects for s6 are AH Bio, AH Chem, and higher geography I would like to know what will i need to retake and what subjects I will need to do in s6.)
Hello :hello:

First of all WELL DONE on achieving this

Second, there are some dental schools you would not be eligible for, but some where you might be. If you click on the link below, you'll see all the entry requirements for each dental school.

Get a piece of paper, and list the ones you would still qualify for - then what you would need to study and/or resit to fully qualify for each one.

If you need help with that I'd be happy to do it, but won't be able to until Thursday this week I'm afraid.

I'm not sure, how do I find out? Appealing was a suggestion from my parents, idk if I should :frown: I'm going to discuss it with my chem teacher when school starts

Ignore me. I forgot this sort of information doesn’t show up on your results.

Right, here is a document that outline the appealing process:
https://www.sqa.org.uk/sqa/files_ccc/SQA-Appeals-2023.pdf

Here is a tree diagram to help you decide:

Yes, your subject teacher is best placed to help you decide. Do remember that ultimately it’s your decision though.

Do bear in mind there is a separate deadline for priority and non priority appeals. Make sure you are looking at the right one and get in touch with your school as soon as possible to discuss your options.

Yes, do keep us updated and good luck. Congratulations once again on your results.

Hi! I was tagged earlier on, so I've come to reply!
Got all As in Bio, Chem, Maths, English and Music!
Honestly over the moon and feeling so relieved that the wait is over.
Was oddly disbelieving of the results when I saw the text, but it sunk in as I ripped the letter open...
Congratulations to everyone!!
And... wishing you all the best with your future endeavours <--- definitely something Fiona Robertson would agree with.

Sorry for the late reply... Thank you! Haven't decided how I'll be celebrating yet. Maybe I'll stay at home and make some burgers! :h:

Is there a way we can find out this info? Like our percentage?

According to this link, you can request it from your school or SQA:
https://www.sqa.org.uk/sqa/96422.html

Though it’s nice to know how you’ve performed, I wouldn’t get too bogged down by percentages.

I tried to contact my school for the breakdown of percentages earlier today. They said they didn't have that information. I saw an SQA post that said you may only be able to find out the bands after the new school term commences as the information is only known by the sqa coordinator of your school
