Got 7 A's yesterday, but I am wondering how I can get the exact percentages for each of my subjects? I called the SQA up and they said that the school has access to the grade bands, but I'm unsure if they'll have the exact percentage I got (and the questions I got right and wrong)

I submitted a subject access request form and I think it might give further clarification on my results, but I'm unsure. Does anyone know how to get those, if I even can?

Congratulations on the 7 A’s! You should be very proud of those results. What are your next steps, if you don’t mind me asking?

According to this link, you can request your marks from your school:

https://www.sqa.org.uk/sqa/96422.html

But another user on this thread tried that, but were unsuccessful, so I’m not sure what your chances are.

I don’t think you will be able to see which questions you got right and wrong because for that you will need to see your transcript which they don’t release to students.

Ah right, thank you and thanks for the quick reply! I'm planning on staying until S6 and getting my highers and advanced highers, but this is a good relief, especially for physics which I was unsure of and English as well. Does the subject access request form give the exact marks, because I submitted one today and am hoping it does since that's what I saw on the SQA page

No problem! Perfect, I wish you all the best with your future endeavours. Do keep us updated on how you are doing?

Unfortunately, I have no clue whether they will release the exact marks to you. Yes, it does say so on the SQA page so really they should, but I can’t say for certain.

Is there anything else I can help you with or do you have any questions?

I submitted a subject access request form to the SQA on the 9th and just got an email an hour ago from MySQA as a standard acknowledgement of my request for my marks.

If anyone else has been through this process how long does it take to get a response back?

I've not got an answer sorry, but is this to request a breakdown of your percentages in a subject? I'm wanting this information but have now left school so have lost direct contact with my teachers. I've emailed the school but not sure they will get back to me, so I'm wondering if this is the route I should go down too.

I got Higher ABBB and passed my college course.
I'm disappointed as was on track for all A's. One of my B's was in English, which I'm really disappointed with and I don't understand, I've been sitting at A1 level all year and even came out the exam feeling really confident. I just don't know what has happened. I've appealed, but not sure what help the appeals process is going to be.
I left school after the exams and currently going on to college, but not sure if I'll need better results for the future if my path changes.

ABBB is a brilliant set of results so you should be very proud of yourself. #BeResultsProud

Though I can understand that you were hoping for higher. You've done exactly what we would've advised and that is to appeal. Here is a link that takes you to a document that will hopefully help you understand what happens during the appeals process:
https://www.sqa.org.uk/sqa/files_ccc/SQA-Appeals-2023.pdf

If you want, I can go through some options with you? Are you hoping to attend university?

Thank you, I know they aren't terrible results and I should be happy but it's definitely been a confidence knock, especially with such a big drop in percentage from A1 to B.

I'm hoping my school or the SQA will give me at least the break down of my percentages for each subject. It's more the appeals process I'm confused at as it looks like they are just going to check that marks have been totalled and entered correctly, rather than actually re-mark any papers or take any evidence into consideration.

Currently I'm starting to pursue Drama schools down south as it is the performing arts I want to get into. Luckily this is more audition led than academic grades, however I just feel having A's in English and Drama would have held more weight in my applications.
