With moving day just around the corner, here's what our accommodation team suggest to pack 📦
What to pack...
Bathroom 🪥
-Toilet roll
-Toothbrush and toothpaste
-Body wash, soaps, shampoo and other skin and hair care products
-Deodorant and body sprays
-Towels
Bedroom 🛏️
-Bedding: Duvet, duvet cover, pillows, pillow cases, sheets and blanket
-Electronics: Lamp, chargers, hairdryer and extension lead
-Clothes hangers
-Laundry hamper and supplies
-Decorations: photos, plants, posters, fairy lights...
-Trinkets to personalise your space
Kitchen 🔪
-Cutlery: Knives, forks and spoons
-Crockery: Plates, bowls and mugs
-Cooking utensils: Sharp knife, spatula, tin opener, wooden spoon...
-Pots and pans: Saucepan, frying pan, baking tray and chopping board
-Food storage containers
-Tin foil, baking paper, freezer bags and tea-towels
My recommendations:
-Clothes horse (3 tier one saved me space as it was taller instead of wider)
-Something from home (Photos of family, a pillow from home or anything that reminds you of home)
-Storage containers to keep your room organised and maximise the space you have to work with
