Has anyone applied to ASTON UNI for BIOMED SCIENCE 2023?

Are u guys goin to buy a macbook or an ipad for taking notes in lectures?? This is stressing me out 😭😭

I'm getting a small laptop cos I tnk laptop has more storage than iPads but I thnk iPads may be easier for taking notes

I think an ipad cause it provide better battery life but

Hi, actually I'm in year 13 this year! haha, so I'm still thinking on what courses and degrees I want to get into. Computer science degree in Aston looked really solid that's why I've been asking around lmao. Wish you all the best with the rest of your course! :smile:

does this mean if you chose the placement head after you start the course there’s still a chance you won’t get one? or is it 100% guaranteed
i’m confused as it sounds a bit misleading that you get the option but then it follows on to say it’s rlly competitive

You have a optional placement yr, and you apply for placements I think, whichever you like but the ones related to the courses like in the NHS or biomedical science in labs are probably competitive is what it means. Aston probs does a good job at aiding you find one however.
