Hi guys!
Recently just had an advisory interview with a country representative of UAL. I am not based in England, and I am also not based in the EU, I am an international student.
And I am hoping to apply for CSM foundation degree, and I have discussed with them about possibilities of completing the fashion specialist pre-degree. And obviously, I was not able to do textiles at my school, so I was unable to present to them with a fashion portfolio, but a more fine arts based.
And I am just wondering if, I still have a decent chance of getting into CSm's foundation rather than wimbledon etc (as i may have less of a chance of getting into dream CSM fashion course)
And if I did get into diagnostic for CSM's foundation, would it very difficult, or little to no chance, to get into fashion design in CSM???? (dream course, understand it's highly competitive)
I am aware that I will be spending less time at textiles, compared to the specialised courses. I am planning on applying for internships at couture.. or whatever business that does patternmaking to improve my skills, to hopefully build up a portfolio...
ADDITIONAL QUESTION:
FOR PEOPLE THAT WERE ADMITTED INTO CSM BA FASHION DESIGN
What was your pathway into these competitive courses?
