bless ya whatever choice you make hope it goes well. If it is really bad and not necessary to dentistry(that is the course right??) could you drop it?

Why do you wanna drop further maths.

Two reasons: I hate the subject (I used to really like maths and was training everyday to do maths competitively at an international level but doing 4-5 hours per day of complex numbers THAT DON'T EVEN EXIST will do that for you) and does not help my uni application in any way. I checked with my unis and they only look at my other three - my FM is actively ignored... I have better things to do that will actually help my uni application or I can take the time to cover content from my other subjects.

Complex numbers exist 😂. Anyways I have the same feeling except it’s a bit different. I got forced to do four a levels if I want to do further maths yet all my courses only want 3 a levels where 2 are maths and further maths, so I’m just wasting my time with one of my other two a levels..

As far as I'm concerned they don't... And they won't as soon as I drop them... What a win!!! How's FM going for you? What's your other 2 a-levels?

Yeah it’s annoying doing stuff that’s pointless. Further maths is good, I want to do a maths degree so I’d hope that I’m enjoying it but I absolutely hate decision and mechanics and couldn’t care less about my scores in them 😭. However I’ll have to start working on them to get the A*. My other 2 are chem and comp science

UPDATE: Just realised by Sunday I will have caught up on all the outstanding summer work (if I follow my schedule👉🪵), which is so slay and excellent, I cannot fathom how unstressed and zen I will be.

We love to see someone who can count on the chat (I can't lolol I spent 20 mins working out 8x7... Like 56 doesn't feel right). Also tough subjects, cs has coursework as well right? Doing chem at the moment and all the molecules are merging together to form one huge organic molecule...

Also all my homies hate stats, mech isn't too bad since I have a good teacher, stats on the other hand...

Cs got coursework but I’m chilling with it. Right now it’s A* so I just need to focus on keeping it at that level. It’s mainly the theory it’s pretty tough. Chemistry is alright though but it’s gonna get a lot harder when we do organic.

stats is okay depending on the topic but I could care less about it to be honest. I only need a small amount of marks on the applied and mechanics and I should be okay.

Theory is tough! I remember struggling to learn what a TCP/IP model is... I still don't know...

FM has no impact on my UCAS application, my general wellbeing however...
