Hi,

Would I be ok for SGUL interview with a UCAT score of 2730 and GCSE scores of 9 9 9 9 (Math, Phy, Chem, Bio) 8 8 (English language, literature) 7 (Art & Design) 6 (Music)? Predicted A*A*A in A-levels (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics). Many thanks!

Would a UCAT of 2680 as a home applicant be reasonably safe for an interview this year? I’m thinking of applying here for 2024 entry.
it must be annoying people didnt answer but answered the comments after you

https://www.sgul.ac.uk/study/courses/medicine#entry-criteria

SGUL GCSE REQUIREMENTS 5 GCSEs including Maths, English Language and Sciences at Grade 6

once you meet the minimum academic thresholds, GCSE’s + Alevel predictions are no longer used. St George’s then orders candidates via UCAT score to determine who gets an interview.

and post interview they use sjt score

so you should be fine to apply

Hi I have A*AA achieved A Level grades and a UCAT score of 2720 band 2, my GCSEs are low at 887766654. Am I likely to receive and interview?

I would hope so x cutoff was 50 points lower but sgul la cutoffs have been a bit volatile 2500 2620 2710 2630 for the past few years

Or maybe it is information clearly available on SGUL’s website, they could have found for themselves in less time than it took to type the question on here? ☺️

Reading med school websites and relevant threads to research things for themselves is a good skill for any prospective med student to have

Not to mention this is all voluntary based so unfortunately cannot guarantee every question gets answered for whatever reason

your spreadsheet alone should be enough! Thank you though for taking time to help those who are genuinely in a pickle

But you just linked the official website? Which is presumably where you got the information from?

You deserve a medal! And everyone else who is helping.
But people should do the basics for themselves, as it is the bare minium to read websites and google things, and then come here for the nuances or to check things out.
