you have to make them your firm if non contextual but you can apply, but if you insure them without being contextual your offer would be A*AA

what is their contextual offer - as i thought it said 2 grades lower so ABB?

Double check their page but I’m pretty sure it’s AAA

Hi me again, ive narrowed my choices down to Brunel Nottingham and Worcester, however i’m really struggling with picking between ARU and SGUL
do you think SGUL cut off will fall any lower from 2690?
and any info for last years cut off at ARU? went through the entire thread but no luck
btw i’m an East England applicant (NE london) for anglia ruskin
and not sure if i’m at any advantage by scoring band 1 or being predicted a first

Brunel should be fine with predicted
Notts should be ok with 106 hopefully
Worcester should hopefully be ok

I think sgul more likely to see a slight increase
Aru cutoff for grads was 2740
Not sure what it was for ne England applicants though it may have been lower as well for 2022 grad cutoff was 2710 and local area grad cutoff was 2690
I've officially applied! 2650 B1, non-traditional adult student with a Bachelor's/Master's from the USA. Hopeful for an interview invite! Good luck to everyone else.

What do you think the cutoff will be for this year for UCAT?

2790
that's way too high. last year it was 2630 and the year before it was 2710. I reckon it will be around 2650

When will SGUL send interview invites and do you think 2640 is a good enough Ucat score for them?

Hi, last year they sent interview invites weekly! I think it was from around November so not too far away. I got an invite on the 21st November and my ucat was 2750 B2 if that helps. Also I think it would be useful to check their last years threshold for interview which i’m sure went down from the previous year and check the ucat deciles from this year and try analyse in that way since it’s not something i can say much about but hopefully it should be enough, good luck

Thank you for offering to answer our questions! My son applied with UCAT 2740, but he has SJT 4, do you know how they use SJT in the process? It’s not clear in their site. TIA

I’m not entirely sure - I think for the interview they base it off entirely UCAT from what I remember and go down the list like that. Maybe they’ll use SJT for decision making between several people with the same interview score after interview. Then again this is me saying things based off memory from a year ago but hope that can help, good luck to your son

No problem, thank you for your kind words I appreciate it! Let me know if you ever have any more questions
Do they interview everyone after the cut off? I'm not sure how cut-offs work, is it just that you have a chance if your score is above the cut-off or that you definitely will get an interview? Also congrats on getting a place!

The cut off essentially means that they won't invite you for an interview if you're below the cut off. So anything on the cut off or above the ucat cut off should be fine. We don't know what this years cut off is however - they usually release those stats way later. So for now just wait and see, and I hope you can get an interview offer from here and anywhere else you applied to. Also thank you so much!!
I read for 2023 entry, the UCAT cut off for St George’s was 2630 (home and international) for non-graduates and 2690 for graduates (home and international). Does anyone have a hunch if these cut-off scores will go up or down this year?
