That’s what’s risky about keele and even post interveiw they have a lower offer rate compared to other unis since it’s the the first time using this grading system not sure how much out of 25 but if I had to guess I would say 20ish because most people will score 6 to 7/10 for first part and I think PS is what will make or break your application where your probs need 12+ for an interview and probs more if u have lower UCAT
My stats are
AAA/AAB predicted (not final yet)
88877777D*D*
2450 B2
Volunteered at primary school 6 months
Hospital volunteering
Retail job 4 months
2 days hospital WEX
Done other things like courses at my hospital, online WEX and part of my hospital’s medical society (idk how relevant they are)
I had the UCAT bursary, I am eligible for a contextual offer and my school is in the Keele region, so am I right in saying that’s an extra 3 points?
Do I stand a chance at Keele? What quintile is my UCAT and would it be better to apply for the foundation year?

I have a ucat of 2410 band 2 and my gcse are 98877665 A* and D*. Predicted A levels of AAA. Wex in hospital, pharmacy, volunteering in care home. Is there a chance i could get into keele? Also if i do put keele down i have 2 options left, im thinking Aston/Lincoln/Sunderland, which two should i choose that i acc have a chance of getting in at?

for keele, you need to ensure that your ps matches their spec. i would go for sunderland out of those options, as you are unlikely to interview at aston and lincoln. are you eligible for any foundation year courses?

Yes most but I don’t think i can apply to them cos my predictions are AAA

there are 10 deciles and 5 quintiles, so 1st quintile would be 9th and 10th decile, 2nd would be 7th and 8th decile, 3rd would be 5th and 6th decile. your score falls into the 5th decile

Okay but how? On the ucat website it says I’m on the 4th decile. So wouldn’t I be on the 4th quintile?

first of all, there are 10 deciles. based on last year's final deciles you would be in 5th decile, as the final deciles are lower than the prelims. secondly, quintiles are separate to deciles - deciles are split into 10, quintiles are split into 5

yes, as they don't look at predicted grades, but if you get an offer it will be A*AA

im p sure keele doesnt look at predicted - just check up on that tho
