Is it easier for Scottish students to receive an offer from Edinburgh than English students?

Do you think it is worth applying to Edinburgh with a UCAT of 2840 Band 1, with 4A* predictions, an A* in EPQ and 11 9s?

RUK applicants generally need a 3000+ ucat to be considered for interview
Is there any chance of being considered with less than standard entry requirements? I have AAAAB (B in English) and a UCAT of 2890 Band 2. I am also a Flag applicant.
Is there any point in applying or would this be a waste of an application?
Is 3010 band 1 state school RUK to risky?

You also need full academic score, too.....
And then, it would be about borderline for what has been interviewed, without WP flags

Chemistry, biology

Edinburgh need A*A*A* predicted for full A level marks this year, so you drop 1 mark there, and in recent years, RUK applicants have needed full marks for an interview. Every year, I say it cannot carry on being this ridiculous, but every year, it does!
You may be shortlisted, but in previous years, you would be borderline, so depends how much you like Edinburgh and how much risk you are prepared to take?

UCAT 3360 B1
GCSE 999999987 (8 Eng Lan, 7 Eng Lit)
A Level Predicted A*A*A* (Chem/Bio/Math)
How would you kindly assess Edinburgh chances pre & post interview? RUK applicant with No Flags? Thanks!
Full points for GCSE's (3/3)
Predicted A Levels A*A*A* (Maths, Chemistry and Biology)
UCAT 3120 B2
RUK applicant with no flags.

I'm assuming I will drop 2.5% out of the maximum 7.5%, because of the SJT B2. Is this too much of a risk?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Any idea if I qualify for flag or plus flag contextual offer for the university of edinburgh medicine? I am currently studying biomedical sciences at university, I am the first person in my family to go to university, attend a state school and live in a more deprived area, I got a contextual offer from Bristol.
Thanks!
