Hi

I have copied and pasted the below information for you from the website so you have it exactly as explained online but the link is here should you wish to look yourself: Architecture - Lancaster University . But, in short, the BA (Hons) Architecture is accredited by ARB and has been awarded candidate course status by RIBA.

Architects Registration Board
Both the BA (Hons) Architecture (Part I) and the MArch Master of Architecture (Part II) are fully accredited by the ARB (Architects Registration Board).

RIBA
The BA (Hons) Architecture has been awarded candidate course status by RIBA, which means the course has been judged to have the potential to meet RIBA criteria. The status will be reviewed in 2023 when the first students graduate.
The designation ‘Candidate Course for Validation’ implies that the course has been judged to have the potential to meet RIBA criteria, if implemented as anticipated. It is not, however, equivalent to recognition, which can only be granted once the standard of work produced by graduating students has been assessed and found satisfactory.

Hope this helps and any other questions please get in touch, Ella

Hey @stargirl28
You receive an offer holder event(OHE) invite when you get an offer from a university, it doesn't have to be after all the universities have replied because each uni takes a different amount of time to confirm offers.
Most OHE events are for students to realize if they like the uni and the course enough to put it as their firm/insurance and work towards it.

Once you attend the OHEs of the universities you want to then you can decide which one you'd like to go to the most and put as your firm.
I hope this answered your question

Im inclined to say February March time. I have been round uni on those months when seeing the daughter at the weekend and there are uni students showing groups of parents and students about.

Hi Anon,
Congrats on your physics offer! Offer holder days are usually before Easter, the university should send you the invitation in plenty of time to allow you to book trains and so your family can see the uni. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

The 2020/21 UK PGT data seems to be either an anomaly or there was an inexplicable spike in enbies.

(Because the image isn't working, I'm referring to Table 34. Student Gender % split by level of study with UK and International splits over five years on page 38)

Hey there!

Thanks for your question, I hope my response and personal experience helps😊

Being a person of colour at Lancaster University, I initially had some uncertainties, but upon arriving, I found the campus to be incredibly diverse.

Personally, joining the Indian society played a key role in connecting with my community and feeling included, and there are also many other cultural representation groups like the African & Caribbean society. I'd encourage you to explore these groups on social media and perhaps connect with current students for a first-hand perspective.

Lancaster is committed to fostering inclusivity, and you'll definitely find a supportive environment here! I’ve added some links to useful information below.

https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/study/chat/ Chat to our current students about their experiences

https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/study/open-days/undergraduate-open-days/ Sign up to hear about our open days so you can visit & take a look at the diversity on campus

I'm an offer holder for Natural Sciences, but my login to the offer holder events portal isn't working, so I can't find out when they are. I was wondering if you could please tell me when they are, so I can book the day off college. Thank you!

Hi!

Unfortunately I’m not sure when the offer holder events are for Natural Sciences, but I’ve seen the following advice on the university website.

“Use the link below to book a place at one of our in-person or digital offer holder events. Log in using:

Your username, which is the email address you used to apply to UCAS

Your password, which was emailed to you separately - please check your junk mail if you haven't received this.

Link to book OHE place: https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/itpi/closed-ohe

If you have any trouble logging in, please visit our help page for further assistance.
[start]If you have any questions about the events, please contact [email protected], clearly stating your name, UCAS ID and course, and we’ll be happy to advise.”[/start]

I’d recommend either looking at the help page to try and sort out the login, or emailing the above email to find out the dates and maybe book through them!

I hope this helps!
