Depends in what context. UK students 69%, international/EU is 31%. Thats from Hesa the higher education statistics agency.

For ethnicity, then its here https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/media/lancaster-university/content-assets/documents/edi/EDIAnnualReport2021-22PostCouncil.pdf Page 21.
You want undergraduate table and you can either look at the breakdown of UK students or the international students for 2021/2022.

when roughly would offer holder days be?

i've got an offer for physics but haven't heard anything since that- i want to make sure i book an offer holder day as i want my family to see the uni but would obviously need to plan train journeys, etc

There are OHEs spread out all across feb-may and different departments hold on different days. They will send out email invitations well ahead and you can RSVP if that date works for you.

Which accommodation are near the management school building

Hiya,

The two colleges nearest the Management School building would be Fylde College and Griezdale College. I'd advise you to think about the type of accomodation you're looking for (ensuite, shared bathroom, studio etc.) as well as location, as different colleges have different types and numbers of accomodations 🙂 I've put a link below to the accomodation types the uni has available. I hope that helps!

Hi Anon,

Did you attend a physics interview day? If you haven’t been able to see the uni at an interview day I believe you should be invited to an offer holder day in the next few weeks.

If you can’t make it to an offer holder day you could always book on to a campus tour. These operate regularly and are guided by current students. https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/study/open-days/campus-tours/

Hope this helps

Hi Anon!

Firstly, congratulations on your offer! If you have any questions about life at Lancaster, please feel free to ask! Regarding your question about accomodation, I would reccommend either Bowland College or County College. This is because these colleges are to the north of campus, where the Lancaster School of Architecture is based (in the LICA building), as well as both offering en suite accomodation options. Below is link so you can explore those options! I have lived in both Bowland acccomodation and County accomodation, and both were brilliant for me.
Saying that, all accomodations on campus are relatively close to each other - as is the nature of a campus uni! - so whatever college/accomodation you choose will be easily walking distance to your classes, as well as other campus facilities like the Library and shops. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Heyy Anon,
As Darcy has mentioned already, LICA will be your main department building for Architecture, however I'd also like to point out that it does not mean all your lectures are limited to just the north campus.
Lectures are spread out throughout campus and no matter where you stay for your accommodation, you will be walking the whole of campus regardless.
Therefore, my advice to you will be to consider where on campus you'd like to be placed for the duration of the year.
example: north and south campus like country, bowland, Cartmel, Lonsdale and most of Pendle are more towards the quiter areas as they are not in the center. You could possiblly get more scenic room views or just a nice quite walk area etc on those colleges.
Colleges like Furness, Fylde, Grizdale are in the center of campus so its a more accessible location for most of the things on campus and its a louder area with a lot more going on. Most of the colleges offer en-suite so you really can choose where on campus you'd like to be easily.

I hope that helps

Hey stargirl 🙂 Remembering from when my eldest did this. The payment system is pretty simple and they will send you an email and instructions on how to pay it. Daughter paid it from her bank account . Student finance, they know when unis terms start, so they will send you a confirmation latter telling you the payments and when. Its normally in a couple of days before the bill is due, and unis are understanding should there ever be a delay, just got to keep them in the loop if ever there is one. payment dates and amounts are also be found on your student finance account when logging in (after you have been awarded). When doing student finance you will also put in your bank account details, although it does give you the option to change this before payments are made should you go for a brand new student bank account thats different bank to your regular one.

Hi @Stargirl28,
The payment system for on campus accommodation is quite straight forward, they send you a reminder of when the payments due and then you can pay it online from a bank account, whether this by yours, or there's an option if someone else is paying for your accommodation eg. a parent. The university is aware of when you get paid your student finance so usually accommodation payments will be due a few days after this.
Hope this helps!

How many times do we pay for accommodation

Hi,

You’ll pay for accommodation at the beginning of each term (Michaelmas Term, Lent Term and Summer Term), so 3 times in total!

I’m not sure of the exact dates for 2024/2025 but you can contact the Student Funding Team if you would like to know: https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/student-and-education-services/money/contact/

Hope that helps!
