Can I transfer courses at uni of Warwick

I got some really bad a level grades but still got into Warwick thru clearing for history of art but want to change it to a diff course something that requires ways higher grades than I got, if I talk to admissions and explain my situation do u think they'll let me?

You can ask but if they say no now then the answer is likely to remain no

Depends on if the course is offered by the same department or not. Switching between courses given by the same department is usually pretty straightforward. Moving externally is a lot harder and you should check the handbook for the course you want to move to and see if they have any information

If you don't meet the standard requirements it's unlikely, but asking won't negate your current offer. What are you wanting to swap into?

However Warwick is still a target uni so if you decided you wanted to go into investment banking/management consulting afterwards that's still a viable option...and for any other generalist grad scheme in e.g. business management related areas/the media/the civil service/law training contracts your degree subject is normally unimportant.

Plus they have a fairly decent history of art course (particularly I gather for Renaissance stuff) if that's what you're interested in academically/intellectually :smile:

hey, sorry this is partially related but i got into warwick through clearing too- however I've decided i want to change to history of art lmao.. do yk how full up the course is at all ?good luck with your application :smile:
