Did anyone else get a call from EY saying they’re reducing the salary? Apparently the salary in my offer letter wasn’t correct :// makes me want to choose an alternative firm :/
I think most waiting for the call letting them know the outcome but this sounds unfortunate wonder why

If I may ask what was the original salary and what are they reducing it too

to people who got offered or knows about this - how much does EY pay grads for strategy and transaction in London?

Has anyone applied for Law in Manchester?

It looks like i am awaiting a date for an experience day but its been the same now for a few months now. I have sent some emails and called on Monday asking for an update because i fear that i have slipped through as we are getting closer to September. They advised AC's are still running until April.

Anyone else still waiting for a date? Just hope it isn't just me! Really want an update tbh, checking my portal daily.

Not sure about experience days I believe same boat as everyone else like after interview even, waiting weeks beyond their estimated time - called they said just keep waiting longer although some have been hearing back with offers within month and weeks.

Also note that accountancy firms are now in the middle of what they call “busy season”. Should then hopefully hear back in May

Hi all!

I am an international student and I genuinely NEED help. I am looking to apply for EY graduate role for the September 2024 intake and I want to know can my application get through if I apply now. Since I see that the EY Assessment Days on the websites are only scheduled until February 1st week.

Thank you for your help and guidance in advance.

Yes, it just says that for 30min on Wed I won't be able to access the portal. Perhaps it's a tech update?

Has anyone completed/received an EYX assessment centre invitation for the Quantitative Advisory Services Role and can offer some potential tips or would like to work together to prepare?

Hi all.

I had come to do my Masters in 2021 and had got a full time sponsorship job even before graduating in Accounting in 2022. It was perfect until December when the company had laid off few graduates including myself (it is a smaller accounting firm but had a sponsorship license).

Since I am an international resident I was just left with 60 days to figure some thing out and was left with no option but to choose a short term course and switch to a student visa by paying additional fees for the course as well as the visa myself. I had tried to apply for few graduate schemes under the gun but was rejected because of my visa status then (skilled worker) and companies only are permitted to recruit people on "Student" visa or "PSW". Now I cannot reapply to them because of the 6 month rule and I am kind of running of out graduate scheme role options. I graduate in July so I am looking for ways to secure any graduate scheme roles in any company starting before end of July. I have student loans and need to support my family as well. And none of this was my fault but the implications have hit me hard. Considering all of this, I honestly cannot really financially afford to apply for a PSW.

I know everybody is trying to secure a job and I am no different. But if you can suggest any grad schemes to apply to, tips to perform well in any assessments, ways to find a sponsored job in Accounting or Finance or anything else that you think can help me in this situation, I would be BEYONG grateful to you.

Thank you so much in advance. I really hope the best for everyone!

That's tough, so if I understood it correctly you came to do your masters and graduated in 2022 and had a full time role but they laid you off. Did you speak to immigration about the situation before switching to the student visa (I presume you already did). Most grad schemes that are open now have start dates around August I believe

I couldn't get in touch with them despite of multiple emails and calls. They had sent just an automated email a week ago (2 months post my multiple emails). So I spoke to a lot of contacts that I had who have a deeper understanding on immigration so there was nothing I could do to extend it so had to choose the student route. I think August start date should be okay with me as long as I am able to secure an offer letter before July end so that my visa could then be switched back to skilled worker.

Check on brightnetwork for accounting and finance grad schemes. Wishing you the best, I know how hard it is to find sponsored roles as an international student

...............I know you will hear this from alot of strangers and people on this forum, that they are sorry, and it is unfortunate . The only advice I will give you is to stay strong , ensure you look after your mental and physical health and take things step by step. There are certain things that happen in life and our beyond our control. If you have strong faith, you need to stay calm and do things that are under your control such as seeking information, applying for jobs etc, but do not let it effect your over all health. If things don't work out the way you wanted , it is fine. Only the best outcome will come your way !.
