Now that results day is out the way, and you are ready to start university this September, we’ve got an exciting competition for you to get stuck into whilst you navigate your first few weeks at University. :ahhhhh:

Ready to start your university journey with some creativity and good ol’ TSR camaraderie? Welcome to the TSR Fresher’s 2023 Blog Competition! So what is it I hear you ask? Well, look no further…

Here we’d love for you to set up your own My Fresher’s of INSERT UNIVERSITY NAME HERE Experience Blog here. The Fresher’s Blog competition is your chance to showcase your unique experiences, thoughts, and plans as you embark on this new chapter of your life. We’re calling on you all to start your very own where you can share your journey, expectations, and tips with fellow freshers (2023 and beyond!) :woo:

So what are the prizes?

While the joy of sharing your journey is a reward in itself, we’ve got some exciting prizes to make it even more worthwhile! :biggrin:

1.

Create your blog and post between today's date and 31st October to be in for the chance of winning a £50 voucher (you must do at least 5 posts between the dates stated to be entered)

2.

Earn £25 for posting a picture of your newly decorated accommodation, be it your study space or your bedroom - need inspo? Check out our Desert Island Uni Items thread for some ideas! also, check out our advice on how to stay safe on TSR when thinking about what to post :h:

3.

Last but not least, earn a £25 voucher for just being supportive; on your post or others for your fellow peers! Voted for by our very own TSR Community and Volunteer Staff


Need some help to get started? First, why not tell us where you’re off to study, what preparations you've made so far, and what you’re going to be doing over the next few days to get a head start on your next chapter! Why not nominate a fellow TSR user to do the same? :h:

I'm starting University in a few weeks, I think I'll make a blog about my experiences for memories and connecting with others.

I am starting uni in a couple of weeks. I'll be commuting so won't have to prep for accommodation (one less thing to think about, phew). I'll try and upload my experience but can't guarantee I will be consistent oops.

Sounds fun! I'll be going to UCL. I haven't packed everything yet so I'll be doing that for now but before that I'm gonna pick up my ID and do some welcome events. Hope everyone has fun
