# I hate partial fractions, help! watch

1. x^3 - x^2 -1 / x(x^2 + x + 1)

Thanks! This is improper BTW
2. x^3 - x^2 - 1 = x(x^2 + x + 1) - 2x^2 - x - 1
= x(x^2 +x +1) - 2(x^2 +x+1) + x+ 1
So the partial fractions : x - 1/2x + 1/(x^2+x+1) + 1/x(x^2+x+1)
