If you’re starting a course with us later this month, we’re holding course specific Welcome to Royal Holloway talks on Monday 23 September 2024 for you to join. These talks will be an opportunity to find out more about your studies, ask any questions you may have and meet other students on the same course as you. The Welcome to Royal Holloway induction timetable will be available on this page soon: https://intranet.royalholloway.ac.uk/students/welcome-week/new-students.aspx.

We wanted to share a few of the exciting events that you can get involved in during your first week at Royal Holloway!
The Freshers Festival is your introduction to the Students’ Union and everything they have to offer at Royal Holloway. They’ve planned a wide range of events and free taster sessions for you to get involved in. This is your opportunity to make new friends, settle in and try new things.
You can take a look at our programme of events here. We've got plenty of activities on offer, so whether you're interested in laser quest or reggaeton, there's something for you!
If you’re thinking about joining a society or club, we recommend heading to our Fresher’s Fair on Tuesday 24 September. This is great way to meet new people and find your community. Society events can range from day trips and big celebration events in the SU to socials at the local pub, showcases and performances. Check out all our clubs and societies here.
If you have any questions about starting at Royal Holloway, we’d be happy to help and don’t forget you can see everything we have planned for the start of term here or on our app.
