Has Cambridge sent u an email for the saq? I received mine this morning and my app got sent yesterday evening.

Nope, haven't even had an acknowledgement yet. Mine was sent off Friday. I'll wait until tomorrow to contact them though as I know some admissions departments don't work on weekends.

Also, we're on 4/5 acknowledgements (come on York) and 5/??? forms. 2 fee status questionnaires so far, and the usual Cambridge application form shenanigans for the other 3 [SAQ, AAIF, Interview Support]. In fact, I'm pretty sure Cambridge have sent me everything except the fee status questionnaire. There are many more forms to come. Why can't UCAS just have one central fee status questionnaire so each university doesn't have to send me one individually to fill out the same information repeatedly?

In case you were wondering how it's going:

Cambridge:
- Acknowledgement [βœ”]
- SAQ [βœ”]
- AAIF [βœ”]
- Interview Support [βœ”]
- Fee Status Questionnaire [X]

Loughborough:
- Acknowledgement [βœ”]
- Fee Status Questionnaire [βœ”]
- Response to fee status questionnaire [βœ”]

York:
- Acknowledgement [X]
- Fee Status Questionnaire [Obviously not]
- Response to fee status questionnaire [lol no]

UEA [Safety]:
- Acknowledgement [βœ”]
- Fee Status Questionnaire [βœ”]
- Response to fee status questionnaire [X]

ARU [Very Safety]:
- Acknowledgement [βœ”]
- Fee Status Questionnaire [X]
- Response to fee status questionnaire [X]

✨ The episode where TMUA kills me✨
So I'll be honest I totally forgot to make a new post because the entire week just sort of,, went?

- TMUA was an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. I was hoping for a 6.0+ but I'll be lucky to get 5.0 after the disaster that was paper 1. Also it took 4 HOURS. I got to school early as usual, started the exam at 09:00, and then didn't come back out until 13:00 and it basically felt like none of Wednesday actually happened because I went into a room and when I came back out again it was basically most of the way through the day. Had some good bonding moments with the new exams officer, who's never ran an exam at this school before so didn't know you always need to bring up at least 5 laptops per person because 3 of them won't work and 1 will die halfway through. Good fun.

- For some reason someone put a single hiking boot and a rock on the shelf in my exam room.

- Received and submitted all the Cambridge form shenanigans. Also learnt there are no nice photos of me.

- Little did I know that I was being absolutely spammed with emails while I was doing TMUA. Opened my phone after the exam to find at least 5 separate emails. Turns out while I was locked in a room with only a pencil and a dream, UEA gave me an offer and York finally decided to acknowledge my existence.

- I missed 2 chemistry lessons due to TMUA, and somehow when I came back for the third lesson of the day I still knew the topic better than the rest of the class who had been there all day. One of the year 13s last year taught me it but still. Spent an hour finding the gradient of a line, just groundbreaking stuff going on here.

- College next to us shut down over RAAC concrete. They're terrible neighbours (and landlords, they're our school's landlord) anyways. LOL.

- I've done exactly 0 studying since Wednesday. My brain doesn't want to see a number ever again.

- Physics teacher is having us reattempt our AS paper in a casual non-exam setting, and I swear I actually physically recoiled at seeing the multiple-choice questions because after TMUA I just never want to see a multiple-choice question ever again either.

- Basically last week was mostly just TMUA-related trauma, because not much else happened. I'm having a pretty hard time right now so I'm basically just coasting to try and keep myself sane, which isn't really working but oh well. Just gonna continue dying quietly because nobody in a position to help is interested in helping. Probably going to end badly, but it's not like I have any other options.

- Updated UCAS progress chart will be posted soon after this one.

Sorry, no proper post this week. I'm not doing well at all, nearly killed myself a few days ago, absolutely not coping with school and just generally feeling awful. No major updates apart from getting sent a fee status questionnaire by Cambridge which is the hardest one to fill out so far that I'm absolutely losing it stressed out about because it's so unweildy and complicated I have no idea if my 12 pieces of evidence are the right things or not, and then it also turns out I can't put 12 things on the form so I have to email them but they're closed for the weekend now. Anyways, everything sucks, struggling to find any single reason to keep living right now.

Hey, no need to apologise!

It seems like you're really stressed right now. I know this might not help that much, but taking breaks is valid, whether or not you want to. If you don't then the burnout will sadly catch up to you and I'd hate for that to happen to you. Please be kinder to yourself, and I hope Cambridge are able to help you out after the weekend! (I've heard that Oxbridge fee status questionnaires are purely hellish for NO REASON). Be proud bro, I personally think you're very cool and diligent especially at your age (I sound so old but I've barely started uni hehe). Anyways, if you take one message from my ramble take this: Life is a marathon, not a race.

Take care

Yeah it's just so needlessly complicated and then they go and ask for all this evidence while only giving 5 slots on the additional info form to put it in, so then you have to email everything and hope they accept it that way. Also half of this is totally unnecessary I literally have a share code specifically to prove all of the information they want from me 😭 I thought UEA's was bad but I had another thing coming
Hey, just found your thread. Congrats on all the offers, I'm working to have grades like you!!!
