If anyone has a bunch of example 20 markers for AQA would you mind posting them here? It is difficult to find good resources for geography and my teachers have not helped with this at all.

Hi can you guys help me choose, I have an offer from ucl for geography and another from Warwick for global sustainable development. I really like both unis, as I know that I will get more connections, opportunities and is higher ranked internationally at ucl, but like the course at Warwick since it is more focused on sustainability (which is what I want to do after I graduate). Which one should I chose?

i would say, stick with your passions. at the end of the day YOU will enjoy your course more if its tailored to your interests.

also think about the cities, which one do you see yourself living in more? where will you be happier? its the same degree at the end of the day.

I find flashcards and practise questions the most helpful and I'm currently getting Bs

Try 'Save my Exams'. Thye have most exam questions organised within the topics.

What exam board are you with? AQA

What do you enjoy most about this subject/ course? Personally, I prefer the human side of geography rather than the physical. My coursework was based on "a sense of place" (changing places).

What area do you struggle with in this subject/ course? I genuinely have no clue on how to apply my knowledge to the question - that is definitely my biggest struggle in geography.

The only examples I have are ones I have written, but I have one on coasts which got full marks, if that's any use?

I fill an A4 sheet with all the content for a particular topic as we learn it and then use it at the end of the topic to come up with revision questions which I get other people to ask me. I'm predicted an A* but I've only done one test so far this year, which was a B :frown:

There is a website called the Geography Portal which has a load of AQA past paper 20 markers

Hi, I do AQA. I enjoy physical geography more, and that’s what I’ve done my coursework/NEA on — sand dunes, which is coastal. I hate human geography, especially contemporary urban environments. It’s such a long unit and there’s too many damn case studies that I can’t remember. Speaking of which, the 20-markers are so hard to time.
