Interesting, I had contact from them a few days before 22nd to supply verification details relating to contextual status. Perhaps they are just working through that after Christmas. 🤞

Hi everyone,

Congrats to those of you who have received an offer! Just a reminder for those of you who haven't heard back yet - there is absolutely no need to worry as offers will continue to be sent out over the next few months! To find out more about the application/offer process, I would recommend checking out our After You Apply page. In the meantime, feel free to get in touch with any questions you might have about life at the University of Exeter, and we will be happy to get back to you!

I got an unconditional offer based on grades I got in Canada. Am also doing A levels as I was 17 when I moved from Canada but my qualifications from Ontario seem to take precedence - they are the equivalent of A*AA

Hi, If offers are being sent out over the next few months and the offer holder days are in Feb and March does that mean that people who don't get offers until after that won't be able to go to an offer holder day?

Hi Wombat11,

Thanks for your question and great to hear that you are interested in applying to study at the University of Exeter! You can find more detailed information on our 'After You Apply' webpage https://www.exeter.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/applying/afteryouapply/. This explains how we evaluate applications and respond with offers, which can vary slightly depending on the course that you have chosen. Generally, the university operates a ‘gathered field’ procedure whereby applications received between September and January will be considered but a decision may not be conveyed until the middle of May. Where this procedure is operated, candidates will be informed accordingly. Where possible the University of Exeter will try and provide a response earlier than this so that you aren't kept waiting.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

was thinking about this - worried about no offer yet but also no email about the gathered field like they said would happen, so I'm guessing it's not being used yet and they're just going superrrr slow?

Hi,
Is the "gathered field" email you mention a specific email to say you are in a batch being considered or is it the post application acknowledgement email ? Many thanks.

i think it's the email to say when you are being considered in batch. in my application acknowledgement email it says they would inform us when gathered field is in place and affecting our chosen course. it also seems it only applies to the competitive courses?

i haven't heard anything since that acknowledgement email so i'm still religiously checking ucas, hoping they actually do inform when gathered field is in place lol, i'm anxious!
