My son applied to Exeter around October 15 for History. He received his offer on October 25th. He is predicted A*A*A* and his offer was AAA

Hi @eliza_xx,
There are plenty of part-time job opportunities both on campus and in Exeter - there are often vacancies in restaurants, bars, shops, etc. that employ students and are generally accommodating of university schedules! Personally, when looking for a part-time job, it was really important to have flexible working hours, so the Student Ambassador role I'm in now was the perfect option - it gives me much more choice over when I want to work, ideal when I know I have upcoming deadlines! It is also a great way to engage with the student community, and meet lots of other students while you work - I would definitely recommend taking a look into the scheme if you enrol as a student here!
In terms of looking for a job when you arrive, the university uses a careers platform called Handshake to promote opportunities available to our students and graduates, including part-time roles, making it relatively easy to search for opportunities that interest you. I would also mention that if you need help with your CV, interview technique, etc., our Career Zone team offer amazing support!
