On average how long have people waited for the onboarding team to reply? They never reply to me!

Still waiting for them to respond to me, but I only emailed them 2 days ago. Now this makes me feel like I shouldn't be expecting a response.

has anybody else experienced the issue where they can no longer access the onboarding zone? i was able to get onto it but now it says the url doesn't exist. i've tried it in different browsers but i can't get it to work :/

@Remi24 please let me know if and when you do hear back, it’s really annoying. I need a response 😅

Hey, I had this issue. I just emailed the onboarding team and they resent me the link which worked for me. Hope that helps!

That is great news….. and really ironic that as a HEO you will get paid more than those who are on the fast stream and have equally just as much chance of making it to G7 in three/four years!!

yeah it is strange - i also prefer the security of being in one location rather than being moved around - we’ll see if anything comes from it!

That's very nice to hear, thank you for sharing! I was another who did well in the FSAC but just bombed the FSB.

Has anyone received details for base camp, assigned buddy or their provisional contract and if so, what was the length of time between completion of clearance checks and receiving these details.

I’ve received my provisional job offer, details of my buddy and I’ve had my first meeting with them. I haven’t received any information about base camp yet.

Hey! I don't think we'll get details of our contract or base camp until mid-summer (there's a timeline on the Onboarding Zone). I received buddy details a couple of weeks after all my checks were completed. 🙂

Was this an actual contract or just the congratulations email? 🙂

I had the congratulations email but there was also a separate provisional job offer on my Civil Service Jobs Portal that I had to either accept or reject. I wouldn’t call it a contract but it had a full outline of how much I’d be paid and other details of the employment. I assume the actual signing of a formal contract won’t happen until they have confirmation that all the background and security checks are clear.

Aah, OK! Yeah I accepted that on Civil Service Jobs too, I was wondering if there was anything else I had missed. Thanks for confirming! 😊

The first bit is very true, but definitely not as much chance of making G7 in 3-4 yrs. Virtually guaranteed in FS but you have to be very high performing and in the right role/ team to progress that quickly outside it.

It honestly depends on where they get their HEO role. Areas like policy are extremely competitive for G7 but if it's rather niche and they have prior qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2 for project delivery) then it's possible in 3-4 years. 😁

It’s the same with fast streamers the drop out rate has risen (within the first year) and they can also get stuck in an SEO role if they fail to perform in their end of scheme assessment.

Hi, for people who have been assigned buddies, did you wait for your buddy to get in touch first? Or did you make the first move?
