I haven't been but I'm part of a Facebook group (non CS related) and someone posted a screenshot of getting rejected after the first tests. So they are turning some people down if their scores are low by the looks of it. Lots of people still waiting for final pass marks to be set, so as someone said above no news is good news

Can I ask what the name of the FB group is? WBS hasn't unlocked for me and I applied over a week ago. Existing CS, I applied for Operational Delivery, Government Policy, HR, and Project Management. Scoring in line with FS, same as others who took the tests. I got through to the FS application centre two years ago but not since.. Losing hope, but currently manifesting*!

How long ago since you took the online tests please? I am still waiting.

Hi all.

I have completed my online tests and got feedback straightaway but WBS is still locked for me. I've got:

WSQ - mostly aligned
SJT - average
Numerical - same as most people

I applied for Finance, HR, Commercial and Property and in the same order.

Do I have any chance?

There's always a chance. Don't give up hope, but keep applying for other things as well.

Woo! I just got my confirmation and am moving on to the next stage for the Case Study Assessment and the Learning Assessment!

I am now giving myself a high five and cheering myself.

Massive congrats! Do they tell you which scheme you are still being considered for?

It's a leaving teaching group, a few group members have applied. One sent a screenshot of being auto rejected. They scored below average in 2 tests I think

I also had WBS unlocked yesterday after average results in WSQ and SJT and good/better than majority in numerical reasoning. I did the original tests about a week after fast stream applications opened.

Did the WBS today and given how similar they are to WSQ and SJT I'd be surprised if I made it any further.

No, but deliberately avoided HoP and Diplo so most of my schemes hover in the same area of appoval.

Some people have been invited to the next level of assessments already, so I'd guess that's when the final grades are through. If your results are very good, you may get almost instant feedback. Or they may take until February. It depends on what schemes you applied for.

I applied for Policy, which from what I've seen has a huge amount of interest which will probably delay my application.

Have people been invited to FSAC from normal application already? Only people I've heard that from have been people who did internship last summer.
I personally did WBS the day they dropped and still don't have feedback.

I am ex-CS (placement year in arms-length body) so not sure if that made a difference as I don’t think I’ve disclosed that yet 🤷🏻*♀️ can’t include screenshots but here’s my feedback and the email

SJT: Your responses to the Situational Judgement Questionnaire focusing on interpersonal skills demonstrated moderate capability to make appropriate judgements in situations that involve other people. In this respect your performance on this assessment was in the average range compared to other applicants. Such a capability is an important foundation in developing the necessary people management skills to succeed on the Fast Stream.

WSQ: Overall, your responses to the questionnaire indicate that your work style preferences are mostly aligned with the broad range of workplace demands of the Fast Stream. How you like to work and the Fast Stream role requirements tend to match as much as most other applicants.

Numerical: Your responses to the Numerical test demonstrated a good capability to successfully perform calculations, and evaluate and interpret numerical information to solve problems. In this respect your performance on this assessment is higher than the majority of people who previously took the test.

Email: Congratulations, you've passed the online exercises.
The workbased scenarios are now ready for you to complete. This will consist of two tests.
You must finish your workbased scenarios before 6 November 2023 at 5:57pm.

My WBS have unlocked and this is the furthest I’ve ever gotten when applying. After three years I’m just buzzing that I’m finally made a little progress 🤣

My WBS still have not unlocked, did anyone have diplo as one of their higher preferences and have the tests unlocked?

Hi all, so I got my feedback

WSQ - Higher than majority
SJT - Average
Numerical - Higher than majority

My preferences were:

1. Diplo
2. Policy
3. HOP
4. Digital and Data

I think last year I got similar/ the same and only got offered an assessment centre for Generalist (my third preference)

Yes, I had diplo, hop, policy, property in that order. But I wouldn’t worry too much yet, they might still be setting boundaries! I think the pass marks might be slightly lower in relation to the feedback this year. They must’ve rewrote the test because too many people were getting above average compared to previous cohorts (which is why everyone who passed through in 2023 for diplo only had feedback in the high range) and they wanted to realign the average/above average thing. Based on what other people said, SJQs may be the most significant score, but there’s always a chance you scored the higher end of the average scale
