Got my feedback:
"Your responses to the Case Study demonstrated a capability to make appropriate judgements in situations presented. In this respect your performance on this assessment is higher than the majority of other candidates. Such a capability is an important foundation in developing the necessary skills to succeed on the Fast Stream."
Is the feed back just one of below average, average, above average or is there a bit more to it?

Just received my case study result (I don't have my learning assessment result yet) and I got below average/ limited capability so I don't think I will get through to the next stage. It's surprised me as I got above average in the SJQ.

Did you use the same rationale for your options as you did for when you did your SJT?

Same I was surprised! Don’t think I’ll be making it to the next stage either.
I got limited capability for the case study, more than majority for work style, above average for SJT and same as other applicants for the numerical.

I wonder if we did well for the learning assessment one, and if that will help us or not. I guess it depends on loads of factors like pass marks, how many people applied and the schemes themselves.

Yes I did! Completely the same! I even wrote out main points on a piece of paper from each video, voice message, and email to refer back to when choosing my answers.

A few questions if you don’t mind.

First of all, well done on your score, that’s impressive!

1) What did you apply for last year, because every other person I know who got average for the case study and learning assessment last year didn’t make it through to the AC.

2) Is the case study and learning assessment similar to last years, not asking for any of the questions or anything I just mean is it a similar theme, same stuff being assessed and same type of options?

3) How did you improve your score this year to get above average? Is it easier, did you answer similar to last year or did you do something different?

I paid more attention to information pack. Try going through logical reasoning.

I’m the same. My results were within the average range for the case study and higher than the majority for the learning assessment.

Same here with the average, above average split on wbs. I think I’m going to mentally prepare for rejections now, so I won’t be too heartbroken later ahaha. Let’s hope we placed high within the respective ranges!

Could someone give me some advice please as this is the first time I’ve applied for the fast stream. For the WBS I got limited capability for the case study, but higher than the majority for the learning assessment. Do I still have hope to get into the assessment centre or no?

I applied for
1) Houses of Parliament
2) Government Policy

Capability/higher than majority in case study, some capability/in the same range for learning assessment.

I have a suspicion that the learning assessment is weighted higher and we don't have exact scores, so I'm going to remain unrealistically optimistic until I hear otherwise

I am in exactly the same boat as you 🙂 Did economics degree 2 and put exactly the same choices in the same order (with my fourth being government policy actually).
Just got average on the case study WSQ and haven't heard back from the Learning Assessment yet. Have you heard back from that part? Good luck to you! I hope we get it!
