Oh, I thought teachers would use them for the mock since the paper wouldn't be public knowledge. That would be great, I'm probably gonna see if I can find out anything on the discussion thread for last year to see if anyone mentioned anything. I'll let you know tho- if I do find anything

edit: I've only sussed out that the prescribed source was on the Panathenaic Amphora, the 20 marker was something about religious participation but specifically on Demes and the 30 was on Blood sacrifices

I am struggling with L&R, particularly Ovid as Ihaven’t quite finished it.

So was just wondering if anyone had any example essay for 30 M.

Just to saw how structure them.

The other thirty was on Xenophanes and Socrates and the other ten was on demes and household rituals x

The structure of the L&R paper is a lot more consistent than the others, so here are my best guesses based on past papers :smile:

I think that the first 10 mark will be an Ovid question, then the following 10 will be a question on Seneca. Last year's was Sappho/Plato, and each year they have seemed to alternate pretty reliably (excluding 2020 as a covid year). This means that the 20 is likely to be a comparison between the two also. This is what i'm the most sure about.

The Seneca 10 mark has been based on love/friendship recently, so potentially that again, or something on desire I think. Both of the recent Ovid/Seneca questions have been based on women, so it's possible that it could be yet another women question, but I think it might be something on Roman men this time.

More or less every year, there's one 30 mark question that's focused on either love or desire. The other question, i'm not 100% sure, but I think potentially something on relationships (who is in support of what kind of relationship for example), or (depending on the 20 mark) something on gender/society.
