I don't think it's a rejection, at the event I asked HR and they said it'd be 2 or 3 weeks until we heard back. It took them over a month to respond after doing the presentation and tests
Oh I see I was going off the glassdoor reviews who said they expected a 1 week turnaround I was assuming the same thing going forward
Also, did they even watch the presentations or the tests I remember they said they had received thousands of applications but nothing i've seen on my side suggested anyone saw my botched attempt at a video presentation

I used an unlisted YouTube link and it did have 3 views on my video so they did watch my presentation. How did you send your presentation?

I had 6 views yeah, also on YouTube but I thought it was because I watched them 6 times so I wasn't sure
By my counting, I was the only one who watched them solely which was why i was surprised i even got that invite because I was like "welp looks like my video hasn't been watched"
Sounds likely like a rejection i haven't heard anything either but it's strange radio silence If anyone else in the forum can confirm they've completed / received next steps, that would be appreciated!
I have not heard anything either, I believe they are carrying out HR interviews for the commercial role at the moment as that programme has an extra step in the process so probs taking up their time, hang in there!

hi what is the commercial role? at the networking event, we were split between trading analytics and risk management
The commercial role is the trading programme. They get alot more applicants for that one compared to analytics & risk so they separate the two
Oh I see, I wouldn't have enjoyed that role anyway to be honest because I have no understanding of trading (or experience) compared to analytics and risk. Makes sense why commercial has way more applicants in that case. I think though that having a knowledge of risk is a much better fundamental to a trading role than striking out as a trader from the start but I don't really know any better.

tbh you're in a very good place at Glencore no matter the programme you do but i know they dont become traders for a few years at the least. Anyway just remain patient, it'll come
