what do u mean more technical?

I think it's referring to your skill sets, so the telephone one was ig a motivational interview, to see why the company. But here they want to see what skills you have.

I did it last Monday and it was pretty easy, but no one is going to tell other people about the questions in it because that just puts everyone who's already done it at a disadvantage

you'd be wrong a lot of people give out questions

I had my ac yesterday, I'll tell you a little about my experience without giving unfair advantage. So it started with a short interview with a 3rd year apprentice, only a few questions but more indepth than the very short telephone interview. Next was the group task, this is something very simple to do that just requires you to work together to share information - that said we didn't manage to complete it! Then there was the longer interview which was with someone who worked at the company - but again was only a few questions and the interviewer spoke a lot about JP Morgan so it was more like a two way thing between us.

I'm an autistic candidate and JP Morgan actually have been by far my best experience in applying for apprenticeships. So if you are an autistic candidate I highly recommend them and definitely let them know. They actually partner with the National Autistic society and in my experience this really comes through in their interview process. At no point will you be asked to 'imagine yourself in x situation', or to 'imagine x happens, what would you do'. You also won't be asked to describe how someone else would describe you. These are the sorts of things autistic people can really struggle with. They just want to find out about you - on a side note my interview wasn't very technical either.

Interviews are hugely nerve wracking so I know any info feel like a bonus, so hopefully I've helped a little bit without giving unfair advantage.

I was declined at the assessment centre stage. Would you say that, in the experience of those invited to the insights evening, in the group activity, you took more of a leadership role or something along those lines? I'm just trying to reflect, and I think I wasn't vocal enough during it. For the interviews, I feel I prepared well and did moderately okay.

Is there another stage after that like last year? Nothing is mentioned in the e-mail they sent after the phone interview so I was wondering if there really isn't a HireVue this year.

Sorry to hear. From what I've read from feedback received by past candidates (for other companies) you've got it right.

I didn't take more of a leadership role, we all just chipped in quite equally really. But i think my interviews went well. My second one was with a cyber security guy and I'd done my EPQ in cyber security and quantum computing so I talked a lot about it in one of the questions which might have helped maybe??? I'm actually more interested in programming and software engineering but there you go...

No not really I was not a leader. I mean I think I contributed more than most others in my group. I think it was good that I felt like my contributions were helpful to solving the problem itself. Also I think it was helpful that my group solved the problem despite being a statement down for half of the time

Would’ve loved to have the cyber guy tbh but my guy was a software engineer he was a great interviewer and when he I was talking about coding he related to what I was saying. Are you sure about what we have for the insight evening I am a bit unsure about that?

I don't know much about the insight evening apart from it's a networking event where you talk to lots of different people from the company.

Ok, interesting. I don't have a lot of knowledge about computing in general - I've never studied CS in school and only in my gap year have I started to learn how to code and about CS via CS50 lectures on YouTube. Like I haven't done a project or anything, more so just doing lots of problems on coding wars. I feel like this might have hindered me as well.
