Will student finance cancel my application?

I've been trying to cancel my student finance application but have been struggling to do so. If I try to cancel it online they just tell me to call them but if I call them they just tell me to cancel it online. I sent them a CO1 form a couple of weeks ago but they still haven't processed it. I've heard they won't give you money if you aren't registered with the uni you applied for which I'm not but I'm still worried they're gonna give me my maintenance loan. I've tried to call them to confirm this but they take forever to answer. Will they cancel my application?
