Hello thank you, unfortunately I didn’t get enough points for the case study but that’s alright , but for the interview if u have a laptop and if you have the notes function please write some bullet points or even whole sentences on the question you’re asked, I had them all prepared and when the interviewer asked the questions I just pulled out the note pad, make sure it’s at the centre of your camera so it doesn’t look like you’re reading it, if u need me to explain in more depth I can give you my socials so I can help u, I didn’t pass the case study so I’ll help as much ppl as I can because I want everyone do do well (Original post by SwimmingFloating)Wow, that's impressive and you seem really confident! As a non-native English speaker, I'm quite concerned about getting through the digital interview. I would really appreciate it if you could share your 'secrets' on how to maximize the chances of passing. Thanks in advance!
Hi! I need to complete my digital interview soon can I connect with you on linkedin or instagram etc? lmk!

I’m gonna be so honest I’m giving up slowly, me and my friend can’t get passed the interview stage atm, I have exams at school and i don’t have time at all, so I normally do my assessments late at night and I’m tired by then, then I end up failing the assessment automatically when I could of used the time to sleep, idk how u guys do it😩😩😩. I need a mini apprenticeship support group, most of my friends wanna go uni so I don’t rlly get help from them, hence why I come on here and find out what others are doing. Just got rejected from Deloitte aswell which SUCKS cus it was one of my top options but I hope I’ll get shortlisted for PwC, I applied for the school leaver Tax role, and it’s not that competitive at all, if I get an offer I’m gonna stop looking for apprenticeships tbh, it’s not what I wanna do, I wanna do audit and accounting but I don’t know if I can internally move to audit at PwC if I can then that’s amazing. I definitely passed my Barclays assessment because it’s been a month since I done it but my friends who done it have already got rejections, I applied for internal Audit, yet again if I get an offer I’m 100% taking it, and there’s no entry requirements for it, only 2 Alevels, I applied for BT, BP, BUZZACOT and some others, other than that it’s just been rejections :/

Omg NOOOO, i feel so bad - did u get rejected from the Deloitte job sim cos i haven't got anything back so idek if this good or bad..
If you need help you can message me on LinkedIn/insta so I can help with my limited knowledge, but I defo get you I've been doing good I got AC for Mazars next week but stress and a few rejections
But rejection is redirection!
PwC has ignored me for weeks and also Ey plus the other firms UGHHH - there should be a support network or something with the applicants.

When did u do the Deloitte job sim? If it’s been over 4 weeks you definitely passed it. Got to the interview for Mazars and got rejected, I think it’s cus i was literally in school and I was rushing 🤣🤣🤣, like I was going into my lesson time and she was just talking a lot of bs, but I kinda regret it cus acc did well , also I got a question wrong aswell I was meant to talk about AAT but I spoke about ACA and I said **** mid way 💀💀💀 oh well!!!! Icl I’ve applied 2 times already and they don’t rlly enforce the 1 application only thing so I’m gonna apply again and try get to the AC stage

PwC told me that they’re gonna start getting back to people around the 10th of December so it’s gonna be a while, EY rejected me also, did there assessment at midnight and I was knackered they could deffo tell I was tired as hell, it’s acc sad tho I have potential i just don’t have time.

now I think about it I would of definitely passed GT it was such an avoidable mistake that I did and I’m so disappointed but I believe there’s better opportunities for me out there, I’m just waiting for KPMG because that’s my 1st choice really so I’m naturally gonna put more effort for the application process

Omg you kinda remind me of myself 1 year ago, cos this is the way I was doing my applications 1 year from now and defo didn't recommend this cos got rejected instantly from all top 10 firms accounting after online assessments didn't get 1 interview loll!

Omg I'm so shocked none of the the big 4 have rejected me cos ik I flopped that Ey assessment (was yours auto rejection), pwc is a prick for changing the assessment this year cos last year they made us do this impossible series of games 😭

Omg I flopped my mazars interview but asked to change fields so they let me cos all the responses I gave fitted with the field I changed to and the lady was like ur an exception since we like you 😂, and GT is never ended process making me do more after the Ac and another set of interview 💀

KPMG is my top 3 so Im gonna bang it out but from last year KPMG was very difficult cos there assessment is like a job sim so prepare loll

Omg, I assume you’re doing a gap year? EY wasn’t auto so I assume that I passed the actual job sim but not the interview, cus they have to review the videos, unlike BDO where I got auto rejected cus my answers for the numerical tests were absolutely wrong, but I’m gonna be honest I’ve you’ve done EY a number of weeks ago and u haven’t heard back, it’s deffo a good sign, me and my friend got rejected after 3 days. You’re so lucky with Mazarssss what did u apply for? Omg I remember PwCs silly games, I applied for the work experience programme and we had to do a formal application in order to get in and I got in (yay) and we had to do some lock key game and I honestly gave up after 2 hours I thought they were gonna reject me cus of it😩. Did you apply for the school leaver roles or the degree apprenticeship UCAS roles because idk if it’s the same. GT has like 7 stages I wouldn’t be asked to do them all it’s too long, unlike Mazars and Deloitte with like 3/4.

hopefully we do well for KPMG I rlly wanna get in, the entry requirements are BBB but I low-key think if I’m being completely honest I’ll get BBC or like BCC so idk if they’ll take me on if I do get an offer, I heard that ppl had got their offers withdrawn because their grades dropped but idk how low they need to drop 🤣

Yess i took an unexpected gap year due to how the apprenticeship I got was outside my city (brain fart moment 😂) cos of how stressed I was during exam season last year, but omggg it so much better as doing the applications is less stressful and that why I feel like I'm doing so good this year (finger crossed 😭).

I applied to Ey Weeeeks ago so it should be a decent sign, I just checked and I did the EY one 3.5 weeks ago which is a decent time but omg 3 days is Vicious. Mazars for me is probs the best experience so far with GT as they are very quick but I remember I applied last year thinking they are small firm and doing my assessment in my school free and boy was I wrong I regret the way I treated this big boii applications last year. BDO is my only rejection so far and it cos of my maths silly old me haha didn't even like them anyways! I did the school leaver roles but I might as well do my ucas so I'm just gonna do my UCAS half assed just as a backup cos I'm going full force with these applications.

I guess u gotta have to grind for KPMG, but it not BBB it acc BBC/104 ucas points cos i applied with the wrong predicted grades last year i got into the second stage so I'm not sure, but if they drop don't be disheartened but i think if u get E/U's then they cant take you, B'S and C's are fine dwww.

I just checked and i did the Deloitte one 1.5 weeks ago so I just want to know how long they rejected you?
