Nope. I contacted admissions and they said they normally send out interview invitations by the 22nd December.

Nothing yet. We should get interviews coming through by December 22nd according to the admissions department when I called them last week. It is daunting to have to wait but lets all remain optimistic and we will do just fine.

YESSS let’s remain hopeful
Does anybody know the stats for 2023 entry? Application, Interviews and Offers etc…
I read on the 2023 entry thread that there were roughly 500 applicants. 100 were interviewed and 80 offered a place.

I am also sceptical of this. "More than likely to be interviewed but not guaranteed" is what I was told in reference to the historic success rate of those who met or exceeded the required grades and contextual indicators. Is it wisful thinking on my part or am I indeed correct to think that there are a lot lot less applicants for entry next year?

They say this every year tho I’m sure? Because on all the previous threads people said admissions told them as long as you meet the academic/non academic requirements you will be invited for interview.

Guys do you think they base interviews off of who meets more contextual requirements or do they look at GCSEs or predictions more? I am a resit student so I’m applying with A*A*A (got ABC the first time so due to the resit policy I’m eligible) and my GCSEs are 998887776

i emailed them once and they said they consider gcses after interview so i guess they look at the contextual indicators before interview more.

Hi I also applied and I meet the 4 contextual offer agreements my GCSE is 66655443 and predicted A*AA (they don't weigh the predicted grades as long as you get a BBB equivalent, so don't feel frightened by me, I mean look at my GCSE they are below average ),
also how are you guys preparing for interviews I don't know where to start > : (.
Oh yeah and the reason I took this course is because my UCAT was horrible so I couldn't go through the normal route and my GCSE's are barely good. How about you guys?

Did you sit the UCAT because your GCSE and predicted grades are really good, just asking out of curiosity!

I hope that's not the case and they focus solely on the interview and only in rare cases of applicants being similar would they refer back to GCSE's. I also noticed that they do allow some extra students so hopefully that helps me but yeah I am feeling really stressed and I really am not looking forward to reapplying in a gap year, I hope we all get in though.

I don't remember but I read on the website that they planned to accept around 40 applicants and managed to push that to around 70, I'll look it up but I believe the information is somewhere on the universities website, inshAllah we get in!
