All good unis as far as I've heard. Major differences will really depend on what you're looking for. Do you want theoretical mathematical first approach to AI? Do you want hands on programming? Do you want to have a go at robotics? Take a look at the modules on the course websites and keep going until you see something that excites you. Othe thing to think about is the offer and how close your predicted grades are/how sure you can get it.

In that list for me, eyes closed I would go for Bath. CS at Bath is a flagship course and it is one of the best universities in AI research so if AI is your interest, I would go for Bath, but you wouldn't go wrong with Southampton either.

Personally, being from Leeds and having visited the university for several competitions I've been picked to represent in, I don't think that the facility is particularly good in comparison.

Edinburgh - Really, really good (flagship course).

Durham - really good facility and course but grad prospects are a bit questionable in comparison to some of the other top 10 unis due to its location, but the uni is well regarded so you shouldn't have too much trouble.

Warwick - Really, really good as well. Strong industry connections but fell A LOT in the rankings recently, raising several questions. I would have applied to Warwick otherwise.

Bath - Really good but like Durham, questionable grad prospects but shouldn't be too problematic in terms of getting a job.

If I were you, I would probably firm Edinburgh and insure with Durham. If not, I would probably firm Warwick and insure Durham.

Anyone heard back from Bristol masters?

Just Received KCL conditional offer for CS. Home student/non contextual/Predicted A level 3 A* + A (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, History). This will be our firm choice whilst keeping Southampton as insurance. Still waiting for Bristol though but not going there anyways
