If you prepare yourself as much as possible by preparing examples for the frontline competencies and know why you want to be a social worker, specifically with front line you’ll be fine. The interview was relaxed, they try to get the best out of you. Honestly don’t give up!

Thank you!
I'm trying to prepare as much as possible!

how did you find the conversation with a care experienced young person and the role play ?

Honestly I found it quite awkward so just stay confident ask them anything just try and keep the conversation going! There were quite a few awkward gaps in mine

I work with autistic children and use conversation dice and other things to begin a conversation so I used them. They must have thought I was crackers when I asked what they would take to the moon, and which animal they would be! It got them talking though! 🤣

During the interview with the CEP
Do they ask you questions or is it just you asking them
Question?

I felt like they didn't give me much back so I was initiating everything, I'm okay at talking to people about something or to find something out but there was no like 'goal' in a way so I found that more difficult

You have a conversation with them where you lead it, which can result in them asking questions when it flows naturally (e.g. do you like xyz). Then there's a second section where they ask questions to you about why you want to do Frontline etc!

Tried to ask before but not sure if it actually posted but has anyone who applied for Merseyside heard anything back yet? Had my AC on the 22nd and stressing seeing that some people heard back after 24 hours

Hello 😊
Is anyone aware of any webinars going on in frontline? If so, kindly share the link or provide details on the date. Thank you.

Hi I had mine on the 22nd too Kate! I’ve not heard anything and have been assuming the worst. I think I might have chatted to you? X

I heard back after 4 days. Don't worry it states 10. I have completed everything just waiting on confirmation of my place. I applied for Sefton. Good luck.

I had mine on the 26th of October. I applied quite early.

Stupid question but will recruitment let you know if you pass the AC on the weekends?
