I got the same last week!!!!! Then got an email a few days later asking me to confirm some stuff, eg that they are planning a 2nd January start and to confirm when i can start!!!

Wooopp! Amazing!!! I can’t wait, hopefully I get 2nd January too, that would the best start to a new year 😁 have they said much more?

How did you get on? I'm due to start on 27th November but havent heard anything from them. Because I'm currently HMRC I have transfer paperwork so assuming it's going ahead even though others talking about 2nd Jan?

I received my contract which just confirmed what the emails said, hours, start date and a 5 day week. I offered 27th Novemeber, however I requested a later start date and from what I understand there is 3 start dates (27/11/23, 2/1/24 & 5/2/24.) I choose to start in the New Year so signed my contract and sent it of, however I haven't heard anything else since before November. I have been asking around though, and what they have told me is my line manager will contact me closer to my start date, and as they are a new department they have a backlog.

So I'm sitting tight, and after Xmas worry about it then. Congrats to everyone else who has been confirmed with a start date 👍

I've been given a start date of 27th November in Drumkeen. No contact from line manager yet with more details.

Those of you starting on Monday might be able to give me more info to know what to expect!
