I was wondering, I built a few AI-related projects (mostly Neural Networks) just for my own satisfaction and not for any Uni course, and I wrote a few pages for each project describing how they worked and the theory behind that particular Neural Network structure and things like that. Would that kind of written work help in an application? Or does it have to be related to work you've done in/for Uni?

I was looking at the data science stream as well but I think I may go for general stream. Was there any reason you choose the data science stream? For UCL, I’ll be doing the computational statistics and machine learning masters. What about you?
