Teacher Training Application

I recently got my GCSE maths and my maths teacher has offered to be a referee for me.
I was just wondering if having recently passed GCSE maths will affect whether training providers will accept me. I know requirements simply are a grade 4 or above, but I'm worried that they will doubt me for only getting it this year.

Hi @TheArcher

Congratulations on passing your Maths GCSE!

I don't think employers are allowed to make judgments like that. If you meet the requierments then that is all that matters.

If anything, it shows that you are determined and resillient. Both qualities are very valued, especially within education, because those are the values they want you to instil into your pupils.

Hope this helps:smile:
