If anyone has any questions on Bath then feel free to ask as I study pharmacy here. I will say that I highly recommend it and comparing it to where some of my mates study (e.g. King’s College) it is much better here in Bath. The support they give in terms of the lecture content is great and they give recordings on some papers or example questions where they explain how to approach the questions and how to answer. They also focus a lot on student feedbacks and actually change the way they teach based on this. I have heard that King’s has been quite bad the last few years and heard many things about pharmacy there and comparing their structure and how they teach to Bath, it really is not great. Not saying that no one should go to King’s, but do heavily consider the teaching styles and the stuff that impacts your learning than liking the thought of going to King’s or London. They might be great for other courses but Pharmacy is definitely not their strongest. Also it doesn’t matter where u go for university for pharmacy as they all are accredited by GPhC but do consider how they teach the course and their structure as it affects you more than you think it does. Also ensuring u like the campus and the area and what the university has other than the course is of course so important.

I’m really finding it difficult to research unis to pick the best ones.
Could you please give some tips on how to find information like the kind you mentioned above.

I know the info about King’s because of a friend and I also know someone at Birmingham which seems to be a really good university for Pharmacy as well. Best way is to ask people you know or on here from people that already goes to the university for Pharmacy. Cardiff is also a good one that I have heard about. Also youtube videos really helps, there aren’t many though. I can get more info on the universities I have named if you or anyone wants as I know people going there.

Yes it would be great if you could as I don’t know any students at uni who are studying pharmacy.

Like interview tips, personal statements their predicted grades, contextual offers and what they got? Do you know any pharmacy student who will be willing to read my personal statement ?

Around a month. Just like why this uni? Why pharmacy? And some scenario questions. Strengths? Weaknesses?

I have my interview soon, are these the only questions that were asked?

I got into MPharm with FY at UEA with a C and an E so definitely have a shot! Just make sure you’re feeling prepped and confident for the interview

Do you think with BBB, should I apply for FY or without FY? 🥲 I’m so stressed.

Reply 197

Hey guys, has anyone got an offer with BBB in any unis yet?

could i just mention that if u haven’t yet applied, check Keele university on their website as i was offered BBB from them 2yrs ago (AAAA predictions) because my offer was lowered due to living in a area with little amount of people going into higher education, so if u quality with that or any other reason for ur offer to be lowered then might be worth a look if u have BBB predictions! this was for the normal 4year pharmacy as well without FY. but maybe adding 1-3 FY universities as well for safety but some universities will take BBB without FY. also on results day depending on ur grades, they might move u to normal 4years anyways rather than FY

There is a possibility that they move people from foundation year to normal 4 years course?🥲 I didn't know that as Ik there is a limited capacity for Mpharm and usually no place is available for clearing or moving.
