Hey fellow Psychology Students!

Recently, I've been looking at ways to expand on the success of the weekly Study Together sessions we’re running every Tuesday evenings (https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=7443741) and one idea we’ve had is to run similar sessions for students studying Psychology .

The idea would be to have weekly sessions lasting an hour where you can come online and revise Psychology with other students. It feels like it could be a great way to build confidence with the content, as well as being a fun and sociable way to get some studying done.

Please let me know if this is something you would be interested in! If so, please comment on this post!

Personally I think at least two of the rhythms will come up. I think it might be a 16 marker

what makes you say these 🥹

Based off what has and hasn't been asked in the past few years, and looking at all papers from 2018-2023 this looks to fill those gaps

it's to do with falsifiability, objectivity, paradigm, hypothesis testing, theory construction and replicability. it's not hard it sounds rlly scary but i suggest u just look online. could include questions like "outline one feature of a science and how it relates to __ approach" just an example. an 8 marker in the past has come up in paper 1 as "discuss features of a science" where you'd outline the features i mentioned above and then explain how whether aspects of psychology align with them or not.

past papers definitely.
make sure you always contextualise your answer if it asks ie linking it back to the stem or you can lose so many marks
