how would you discuss soft determinism for the cognitive approach

cognitive approach suggests cognitions/ way of thinking/ internal mental processes (cognition refers to the process of knowing - including thinking, reasoning, remembering , believing) is what governs human behaviour (off the top of myhead), but humans can still choose what information they attend to. Something like that im yet to reviseapproaches imma start for paper two tmrw

Personally I think at least two of the rhythms will come up. I think it might be a 16 marker

is it possible to get a 16 marker on only ultradian/infradian?
does anyone have any predicted papers

unlikely, if we were to get a 16 marker it'd be them combined
Approaches will definitely be a 16

Probably as an 8 because they’ve not asked a 16 on approaches in a while

doubt it, 16 markers pretty much never specify the type of rhytmn, they would just be "discuss research into biological rhythmns" or "discuss the role of endogenous pacemarkers in controlling biological rhythmns"
How possible is it that split brain research comes up?
guys just make sixteen marker plans for all the approaches and u are set, as for bio-psych i think flight or fight (praying for this one big time), pacemakers, rhythms and neurons (synaptic transmissions and all that stuff)

are we thinking of more than one 16 marker in this paper since paper one only had 2?

yup i was thinking it might be 2 essays for paper 2. hoping it is for approaches at least as if its a comparison q its always great to write about the therapy differences and that is always a big chunk.

how would they make fight or flight into a 16 marker…? in my textbook it’s literally a small section with no AO3??

taylor: issue of beta bias in fight or flight, most research done on males, females have different reaction, "tend and befriend" which offered an evolutionary advantage as they can protect their children

also there r other responses to fight or flight, like freezing, as gray highlights

another issue is that fight or flight isn't rlly helpful in the real world in managing stressful events. e.g. take an exam, you wouldn't fight the invigilator (fight response) or run out of the room (flight) when u're distressed

psychodynamic has come up EVERY year since 2017, why would they stop
Can we all collectively pray that the 16 marker isn't on circadian rhythms 😭
