Retake Y12 to do new subjects to meet entry requirments!!

I have started my A levels this year and i am doing bio, chem, maths and philosophy. However i have decided to do physics at uni as i am always more interested in the physics side of my a levels. But ofc unis require you to take FM and Physics a levels.
So if i retake y12 to do Maths, Fm, physics and chem would it be a disadvantage when applying for competitive courses like cambridge natsci, or imperial physics.
Would it be easier for me to do a stem degree first and then get a second degree at physics?
Sorry you've not had any responses about this. :frown: Are you sure you've posted in the right place? Here's a link to our subject forum which should help get you more responses if you post there.
