Repaying Student loan if married

Hello there,

I had the decision not to make any payments for my student loan, because I was unemplyed and I was suported by my partner. I am still unemplyed and suported by my partner, but we are thinking about getting merried and become legal spouses. So if we marry , would Student finance want to see his income and consider it in the decition whether I have to pay or not, since still I would be entirely suported by him.

Thanks

Hi there, Repayment of Student Finance is deducted from your taxable income only, no deductions will be taken from your partner/husbands income. Thanks, Angela
