We had a book full of short stories (Opening Worlds) and another full of poems (Opening Lines). They were included in both English and English Lit.

Oh, and coursework was Frankenstein and Romeo & Juliet
lord of the flies for the exam, and macbeth for the coursework

I liked both of them

The Catcher in The Rye.... pretty pointless book tbh

 Perhaps my favourite novel!

I did Of Mice and Men and An Inspector Calls for exam.

For coursework I did Romeo and Juliet, The Red Room, 2 Seamus Heaney Poems (Follower and Digging ), a comparison between Wilfred Owen's Dulce et decorum est and Tennyson's Charge of the Light Brigade, a short story and two letters.

To Kill a Mockingbird, for wuh-jeck.

Romeo and Juliet, Dracula and the Crucible iirc on OCR I think. Good stories but GCSE English was so dull with the short stories and poems and writing.

To Kill A Mockingbird. AQA I believe.

Just quote the line about killing mockingbirds and you're set.

I got a B :P

EDIT: Also looked at The Crucible, The Tempest and the Mayor of Casterbridge
I did quite a few novels for GCSE English. I did one play and two novels for coursework, and then one novel for the exam. I also did Of Mice and Men and an Inspector Calls as introductory pieces to the course to prepare us for further study.

As part of the course I did A View from the Bridge by Arthur Miller as part of the coursework. I also studied A Midsummer Night's Dream by Shakespeare again as part of the coursework and Oliver Twist by Dickens for another coursework piece. For the exam I did JD Salinger's Catcher in the Rye and I was on AQA.
i forgot bout the poems. I never slept so much in lessons
Great Expectations by Charles Dickens

drama - Streetcar Named Desire - Tennessee Williams

Poetry - Coleridge
