Cambridge Maths GCSEs

I got rather poor GCSEs(Mostly Bs and Cs) and am applying to Cambridge this year. I have achieved grades which meet the requirements at A*A*A.

I have decided on a college, but was wondering if there are any in particular that care more/less about GCSEs? I've heard Churchill are particularly picky with GCSEs, but is this true?

hii! sorry this is quite late but Cambridge has a more holistic approach grade wise than Oxford. Obviously they still care about grades but GCSEs are only a small part in the application and considering you got A*A*A this is great. However, a lot of people applying to your course will have 3 A* due to how competitive the course is. I know for comp sci it’s A*A*A but realistically everyone gets 3 A* anyway. I think that if your personal statement was good and the test for maths score was amazing there won’t be much to worry about. Also I don’t know where you got the information from about GCSEs but in general Cambridge only takes a look at them as one part of your application.
