I know how you feel. I find working hard foR all sorts of reasons and so it's frustrating when you find managers aren't supportive. But you'll get there they are nice managers out there and you'll eventually find something that's suits you.

If it suits you fonoacially you may find working on casual basis of part time easier and better. I definitely think that for me!

Completely understand what you mean!! Ngl I have worked part time hours but when the pay check comes through it’s just not maintainable so I always end up getting a second job or increasing my hours.

Discover what your ikigai is and go from there. If you've never heard of the concept then look it up.

I remember coming across that years ago on YouTube. It’s an interesting concept for people who struggle to find there purpose in life but if we’re speaking in regards to financial terms I just feel like your job can’t be your passion at the same time because 1) you can enjoy it but not make as much money 2) the moment you monetise something you genuinely enjoy doing in your free time it automatically becomes somewhat of a chore. I mean everyone has different opinions towards this but that’s just how I see it

Have you seen a career's advisor or whoever?

Yess years ago during college…the only option he gave me was studying STEM subjects in uni which I didn’t do. I just jumped straight into work (kinda regret it kinda don’t)

Become a pro Twitch Streamer or YouTuber and then you can play video games all day and get paid for it

Sounds like a dream if I actually played video games

I don't wanna work anymore! If any rich woman wants to keep me fed and watered and with a massive daily shopping allowance, take me.

lmaoo can’t believe this is what the suffragettes fought for 😔

Only another 50 years to go, you can do it!

bold of you to assume I’ll make it that far
Presumably office work? In which case I sympathise with the OP.

This is the post that Ive been searching for!You made my day. I feel like Im not alone. I left my full time job 2 days ago because of the toxic environment and abuse, not being 100% confident that I made the right choice however, I feel as we get wiser with age, we dont take such nonsense anymore because we KNOW that we deserve better. I am currentlt at home and feeling way stressed out, but you always get through dont you? You always do! I say, if you unhappy, look for part time or freelance work where you can be happy and work flexible hours. I am currently completing my TEFL to teach. You can also look at this as an option

No offense but TEFL will be just as stressful as working a 'regular' full time job.
