DWP onboarding process

Hello,

Please can you update me,if you have any information on this.

DBS was received by post, and I received an email confirming that PEC checks have been satisfactorily completed. They will contact me shortly to discuss the start date and provide further details on the next steps. It has been around 5 weeks since I received my provisional offer and started pre-employment checks.

Last week received another email from the DWP vetting team indicating that additional vetting (SC)required.
DO I need to have lived in the UK for 5 years to obtain SC clearance, It’s been 2 years since I came to the UK

I'm just wondering how much longer I have to wait for all these checks to be completed.
