Self-employment whilst receiving maintenance loan

Good morning.

I am currently a year 2 BSc student and would like to become self-employed to earn some money whilst studying. Will it affect the amount of tution fee or maintenance loan that I am currently recieving (I am not working at all atm)? Do I need to inform SFE if I become self-employed?
